How to confirm MeetingOS is picking up audio
If you want to verify that MeetingOS is hearing the conversation during a meeting:
Start capturing a meeting
Click the waveform button in the upper-right corner of the desktop app
A live audio preview will appear, showing you exactly what MeetingOS is hearing in real time
This is a quick way to catch any audio issues before they affect your notes.
Common audio issues
Only your voice is being captured: Check that system audio permissions are enabled. On Mac, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording and confirm Contio MeetingOS is allowed. On Windows, audio permissions are handled at the system level automatically on version 0.30+.
No audio at all: Make sure you clicked Capture Notes to start capturing — MeetingOS never records automatically.
