MeetingOS needs access to your microphone and system audio to capture meeting transcripts. You'll be prompted to grant these permissions the first time you open the app.
Mac
When prompted, click Grant Permissions
A dialog will appear asking for microphone access — click Allow
A second dialog will appear asking for system audio access — click Allow
Both permissions are required. Microphone captures your voice; system audio captures the other participants in your meeting.
Note: These permissions are granted at the macOS system level, not in a browser. If you previously clicked "Don't Allow" by mistake, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone (and Screen Recording for system audio) and re-enable Contio MeetingOS.
Windows
On Windows version 0.30 and later, you will not see a permission pop-up — audio access is handled automatically at the system level.
Didn't see the permissions prompt?
If you skipped the permissions screen or clicked "Do this later," you can trigger it again from within the app, or manually enable the permissions in your system settings.
