Add Questions to Answer to a meeting
Build or edit a meeting agenda.
Add an agenda item and choose Questions to Answer.
Add your questions: type them one at a time, paste a list (one question per line), or ask Contio to draft them from what the meeting is about.
Tip: save the agenda item in a meeting template to reuse the same questions for every meeting of that type.
During the meeting
As you talk, Contio listens and marks each question it hears you cover as possibly answered (purple).
Hover the AI icon on a question to see the words Contio picked up on.
Mark a question answered (green) when you're satisfied, or skip any you don't need.
With a few minutes left, glance at what's still open and ask it before you wrap.
You can add, edit, reorder, or skip questions at any time.
After the meeting
Your questions and their statuses appear in your meeting notes, giving you a complete record of exactly what was covered and what's still open. Turn any open questions into a follow-up: create a Next Step, copy them into a new agenda, or add them to a Canvas.
Your questions stay private
Your questions are private to your workspace. Anyone from outside your workspace only sees the agenda item's title and description. They never see the questions, the checklist, or the statuses, even when you share the agenda with them in Contio.
Frequently asked questions
What plan is Questions to Answer available on? The Elite plan. On Free and Pro, you'll see the agenda item's title and description, but the question checklist is an Elite feature.
Does Contio answer the questions for me? No. Contio flags questions it thinks you've covered by marking them possibly answered. You're always the one who confirms a question as answered. Hover the AI icon on a flagged question to see the exact words from the conversation that it picked up on.
Will it catch every answer? It's a helper, not a guarantee. Contio flags what it's confident it heard and may not catch everything, so review what it flagged, confirm what counts, and ask anything still open before you wrap.
Can I type an answer into a question? Not yet. Questions track their status rather than storing a typed answer. To jot something down during the meeting, use the Scratchpad.
What do the colors mean? Unanswered (no color), possibly answered (purple, set by Contio), answered (green, confirmed by you), and skipped (gray circle with an X icon).
Can the client or the other person see my questions? No. Your questions are private to your workspace. People outside your workspace only see the agenda item's title and description, even if you share the agenda with them in Contio.
Can my teammates see and edit the questions? Teammates with editor access in your workspace can see, add, and manage questions. Members with viewer access can see the questions but can't add new ones.
Can I reuse my questions? Yes. Save the agenda item in a meeting template and reuse it. Statuses reset each time you save a template.
Is there a bot, and is my meeting recorded? No bot joins your meeting, and audio isn't recorded. AI processing happens in Contio's secure private cloud, and your data is never used to train AI models.
Where do I find it? When building an agenda, add an agenda item and choose Questions to Answer.
