What is the Daily Brief?
Every evening, Contio reviews your next day's calendar and preps you for each meeting — pulling in prior meeting context, recent email threads, and relevant documents, so you walk into the next day sharp. Think of it as a personalized brief for every meeting on your schedule, handled before you even think about it.
Which plans include the Daily Brief?
Elite plan users will automatically receive the Daily Brief each evening at 6pm local time if they have at least one meeting scheduled for the following day.
Do I need to turn it on?
No — it's on by default for users with the Elite plan. Nothing to set up.
When does it arrive, and where?
It lands in your inbox around 6pm local time, every evening, covering the next day's meetings. You can also get a glanceable SMS alert — add your phone number in your profile.
Is my Daily Brief private?
Yes. Your Daily Brief is generated just for you, using only data you already have access to. Contio never shares your brief with anyone else, and no one else's data is used to build yours.
What data does it use?
Your calendar, email, prior meetings, and the documents you've connected. Connecting your calendar, email, and Google Drive (or Microsoft platform) gives you the most complete brief — with fewer connections, the brief has less to work from.
How does it handle different meetings?
For recurring meetings, it draws on your prior meeting history — action items, open decisions, and threads that didn't get closed last time. For new meetings, it uses your email and documents to figure out who's attending and what the meeting is about. For meetings you've declined, it stays out of your way.
Can I ask follow-up questions?
Yes — click the "Ask a follow-up →" button in the Daily Brief email to ask questions, add talking points to an upcoming meeting, or share feedback.
Why does my brief look sparse?
Connect your calendar, email, and Google Drive (or Microsoft platform). That's what gives the Daily Brief the most to work from. Without those connections, your brief will have less context.
I didn't get a Daily Brief — what happened?
A few things to check:
Daily Brief only sends when you have at least one meeting scheduled for the next day.
It arrives around 6pm local time, so confirm the time and that your profile time zone is correct.
Make sure you're on the Elite plan and that your calendar and email are connected.
Meetings you've declined are intentionally left out.
How do I opt out of the Daily Brief?
