We have affectionately labeled this bar the Orb, it will notify you of your upcoming scheduled calendar events, help you manage your back to back meetings and need to stop capturing the first and start capturing the second, and even when it detects that a non-scheduled video call that's taking place on the computer, reminding you to capture.
If you have an impromptu meeting, you can click the Orb and select Meet Right Now even if your desktop app is not open. During a meeting, you have the ability to capture and pause capture from the Orb - so if you'd like to minimize the Contio window while you engage with your video call, you're more than welcome to do that.
