MeetingOS is available as both a web app (app.contio.ai) and a desktop app for Mac and Windows. They look similar, but they serve different purposes — and there's one critical difference.
The desktop app is required to capture meetings.
The web app cannot access your microphone and system audio in the way MeetingOS needs to generate notes and transcripts. If you try to record from the web app, you won't find the option — it simply isn't there.
When to use each
Desktop app — use this for any meeting you want to capture. Open it before your meeting starts and click Capture Notes when you're ready to begin.
Web app — great for reviewing past notes, editing agendas, sharing summaries, and managing your account when you're away from your usual machine.
