Derrick Kinney Elite Advisor Coaching, powered by Contio, is a Contio plan for financial advisors. It includes everything in the Elite plan, plus a coaching toolkit built with Derrick Kinney: his visit templates, a pre-visit Brief, post-visit coaching notes, follow-up drafts, and an Advisor Scorecard.
It is not a separate app or an add-on. It lives inside your regular Contio workspace. Plan details are at contio.ai/wealth/derrick-kinney.
What's included
Everything in Contio Elite. Unlimited meetings, Daily Brief, Canvases, custom AI recap prompts, unlimited custom Next Steps, and transcript access.
Visit templates. Templates for the client and prospect visits Derrick coaches, written in his words: Initial Prospect Visit, Second Visit, Referral Conversations, and Quarterly and Annual Service Meetings. They appear alongside Contio's standard templates.
The Derrick Brief. A pre-visit summary that shows what's on deck and how much of your recent visit time has gone to your three highest dollar-productive activities. It's built from your visit record in Contio.
Post-visit coaching notes. After each visit, a set of notes in Derrick's method: what went well, missed openings, language from the prospect or client worth noting, and recommended next steps.
Follow-up drafts. A follow-up email drafted in Derrick's voice, built on Contio's Next Steps. You review, edit, and send it yourself. Contio never sends on your behalf.
Scheduled Spontaneity reminders. After visits with your top clients, a reminder arrives 3 to 4 weeks later with a short voicemail script tied to that conversation.
Advisor Scorecard. A 1 to 10 self-assessment on your three highest dollar-productive activities, plus fee progression, prospect-to-client conversion, and referral quality. You set your three activities when you start.
Coaching Review Packet. An optional summary (visit summary, scorecard, coaching notes, and follow-up draft) you can share with Derrick's coaching team if you work with them. Nothing is shared unless you choose to share it.
How to get it
New to Contio: go to contio.ai/wealth/derrick-kinney and choose Sign Up. You'll create your Contio account and select monthly or annual billing.
Already on Contio: contact Contio Sales at [email protected], or open Help & Feedback in the Contio app and ask to add Derrick Kinney Elite Advisor Coaching. We'll switch your workspace the same day and prorate the rest of your current billing month, so you only pay for the days you have it.
The toolkit installs automatically once the plan is active. On your next login you'll see a short walkthrough. Everything you've already captured in Contio stays where it is.
Where to find it in Contio
Derrick's visit templates appear alongside Contio's standard templates when you set up a visit. Coaching notes and follow-up drafts appear with the visit's notes after it ends.
Pricing
$56 per user per month billed annually, or $75 per user per month billed monthly. The plan applies to your whole workspace: every user in the workspace is on Derrick Kinney Elite Advisor Coaching, or none are. There is no free trial for this plan.
Common questions
Can some people in my workspace have the toolkit and others not?
No. Derrick Kinney Elite Advisor Coaching is a workspace-level plan, so it applies to every user in the workspace. If part of your firm wants it and part doesn't, contact [email protected] and we'll talk through the options.
Does a bot join my client meetings?
No. Contio works in the background on Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet without joining as a participant. For in-person visits, the Contio mobile app captures from your phone.
Is audio recorded?
No. Contio does not record or store audio.
Does Derrick or his team see my visits?
No. Your visit data stays in your workspace. The only way anything reaches Derrick's team is if you choose to share a Coaching Review Packet.
Is this investment advice?
No. The toolkit coaches how you run and follow up on visits. It does not make investment, tax, or legal recommendations.
Can I still use Contio's standard templates?
Yes. Derrick's templates are added to your library; nothing is removed.
Can I try it before I buy?
