Short answer: you are.
The broker of record (BOR) stays 100% with you. You're the licensed agent. Benny is your assistant in the background, taking the busywork off your plate so you can spend your time with clients.
Your commissions don't change
Carriers keep paying you exactly the way they do today. Using Benny doesn't change your carrier appointments, your agency's contracts, or who gets paid on a case. Contio isn't a broker or agency, and it doesn't receive, split, or share in your commissions.
BOR letters name you, not Benny
Benny can draft BOR letters for you. The letter names you and your agency as broker of record. You review it, send it from your own email, and your client signs it. Benny and Contio never appear as the broker on any letter, application, or carrier record.
Your clients and your book stay yours
Benny works on your behalf, under your firm's name. It doesn't build its own relationship with your clients or carriers.
Your book of business belongs to your firm. Contio never sells your data.
If you ever stop using Benny, nothing about your BOR, your appointments, or your book has to move. It was always yours.
